WAITLIST PROCESS AND FAQ

  • How do I sign my child up for the waitlist?

The first step is to fill out the application on our “enrollment process” page. On that application you must select that you would like to do the preliminary Meet & Greet Interview. Once we have had the interview, you will receive an email with the option to pay for and secure your spot on the waitlist.
    The $50 deposit is non-refundable.

  • Why do I have to interview to get on the waitlist?

Because you must put a deposit down in order to get on the waitlist, we want you to be sure this environment fits the needs of your family and we can be sure your family will be a good fit for our program. It gives you an opportunity to see my program in person, ask any questions you may have and feel confident in enrolling with us once we have an opening available.

  • Why do I have to put a deposit down?

Typically we do not get openings very often, because most families intend to stay with us until their child graduates to kindergarten. Because of this, in the past our waitlists have been unproductive, as most people have found other accommodations or we no longer have up to date contact information. This ensures that our waitlist is full of families who don’t mind waiting for a slot to become available.

  • What does the deposit go toward?

The deposit goes toward your first month’s tuition.

If your full tuition is covered by DHS, the money will be put in as a “credit” on your account to cover fees, changes to your subsidy that results in co-pays or overages, or other expenses incurred through the child care.

Your deposit cannot be used to cover early drop off or late pick up fees.

Your deposit cannot be used to cover the registration fee or renewal fees.

  • What happens when I'm the next one on the waitlist?

Once your name has reached the top of the list, we will inform you via email that you will be offered the next available slot. We typically will not have an exact date at this time.

Once your name is at the top of the list and we have a slot coming available we will call you. If you do not answer we will leave a voicemail and send an email as well.

You will have 24 hours after the phone call or email notification to fill out the registration paperwork and pay the registration fee.

If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours we will contact the next person on the waitlist. If we do not hear back from you within 72 hours we will remove you from the waitlist.

  • What happens when I'm removed from the waitlist?

If you are removed from our waitlist, you forfeit your deposit. This is why it is very important that you always update us if any of your contact information changes.

You can get back on the waitlist but you’ll start at the bottom and you will have to repay the $50.00 deposit.
